Beyond the Sun

Being mesmerized watching you,

I can see how a sunflower is formed

by the glare of the sun.

But, affectionately looking into your eyes

I can see that deep within you,

there is a field of sunflowers.

In the center,

I can see a clock tower ticking

when it marks 9:00

the sun vanishes

a great dragon appears

spitting fire!!

By looking at you,

this fire kicks me back to reality.

You have that fire that burns inside me

that unites with your will.

I can see the sunflowers

They are a small part

of your tender beauty
