Three poems written by Trinity Jefferson

Unwiped Tears

Teach out little boys to cry

A lot of them end up dying

And the only tear rolling down their eye

Is the one they can’t wipe

Damage Cup

My cup

Half empty

Half filled

I poured so much out

When will I be full?

Hot Tears

I can't let loose

The fire

Burning in my chest

I'm holding back

Flames

Stronger than the pit of hell

Tears spill out of my eyes

I'm angry.

Can't you tell?
